UN renews condemnation of Assad regime

GENEVA — The 47-nation United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on Friday adopted a resolution once again condemning the three-year civil war in Syria by a vote of 32-4, with 11 abstentions. Russia, China, Venezuela and Cuba voted against it.

The resolution strongly condemns the Syrian authorities and militants of systematically attacking human rights and international humanitarian law. It also criticizes the regime.
