No progress in search for missing Malaysian airliner

KUALA LUMPUR – Six days since Beijing-bound Malaysian Airlines (MAS) MH370 disappeared, Malaysian efforts appear more focused on denying reports of progress in the investigation than confirming the plane's whereabouts. Early Thursday, three satellite images taken from a Chinese government website appeared in media reports suggesting possible debris. Acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein dismissed the reports Thursday. MH370 went missing after losing radio contact with Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic control after leaving Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 8.The Beijing-bound flight was carrying 239 passengers including 12 flight crew from 14 different countries.
