Turkey hits 6 DAESH positions, coalition airstrikes kill 6 terrorists in Syria
The Turkish military hit six DAESH terrorist targets as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield on Tuesday, while coalition airstrikes killed six DAESH terrorists in four different regions in Syria, military sources have said.
According to the sources, a total of 524 DAESH targets have been hit 2,245 times since Aug. 24, which marked the start of the operation. Meanwhile, coalition airstrikes, which killed six DAESH terrorists, also destroyed four mortars and two defense positions belonging to the terrorists.
The sources added that the domestically-produced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Bayraktar continues its discovery and monitoring activities along Turkey's border with Syria, while the Red Crescent and the Prime Ministry's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) continuously carry out logistic and humanitarian activities for the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and civilians in the region.
