A car ferry was pulled ashore by locals and passengers in Turkey's Aegean island of Gökçeada due to technical problems.
The ferry, operated by private firm GESTAŞ, lost one of its engines as it was getting ready to berth in Gökçeada pier.
The officials did not want to risk to complete the maneuver with one engine due to strong winds and opted to use ropes instead.
The giant vessel was slowly pulled ashore by pier officials, locals and passengers waiting to cross to Çanakkale in Turkish mainland.
The passengers and vehicles in the ferry safely landed in Gökçeada despite a 30-minute delay.
