A fire broke out in a pallet manufacturing factory's warehouse in western Izmir province's Bornova district in the early hours of Friday.

The blaze grew quickly, quickly spreading to the whole warehouse building. The nearby animal shelter was evacuated as precaution.

Fire crews are currently on site, trying to extinguish the fire.

No casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
