Four killed in family feud in Diyarbakır


Four people were killed and seven others injured when three families engaged in a quarrel over a land dispute Wednesday in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır.

Media reported that suspects and victims opened fire on each other after quarreling over the ownership of plots of land in a rural part of the Eğil district.

Security forces stepped up security measures in the district following the deaths and an investigation is underway into the incident.
