A stray dog jumped into cold waters and helped a fellow canine to reach the shore after it fell into the sea in Gölcük, a northwestern town.

Some onlookers captured the moments of the dog pushing its friend, inexperienced in swimming, to the shore, while others extended a hand to pull the duo out to safety.

The warm image captivated hearts of the Turkish public who praised "a noble action, a rare sight among humans."
