Eight people died and 32 others were injured in a bus accident in the Kalecik district of Turkey's central Ankara province.
Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca confirmed the death toll on Twitter, adding that 11 of the injured remain in critical condition.
Ankara Governorate said in a statement that the bus went off the road took as its driver fell asleep.
The bus was traveling from the northern Kastamonu province to capital Ankara.
In a separate accident in central province of Afyonkarahisar, a bus collided with another bus from the same coach company, injuring 40 passengers.
