Ömer Korkut, the deputy director of a state-run defense company, told reporters on Friday that cyberattacks originating from Germany have increased recently.

Korkut was speaking at a center for cyber defense that counters online attacks from abroad.

He said it might be linked to recent political tensions between the two countries.
