As snow starts falling in the mountains, Turkey's eastern province Van has entered a period in which people can experience two seasons at the same time.

They only have to endure a 30-minute car ride in order to switch seasons.

While warm autumn tones dominate the district of Çatak, snow is being removed from the streets in the neighboring district Bahçesaray, which is located only 50 kilometers away.

Çatak is a beautiful town with spectacular nature where people can go for long walks enjoying the scenery, whereas Bahçesaray may attract snowball lovers with its white mountains.

Çatak and Bahçesaray districts possess natural riches like honey, walnuts and salmon which attract visitors who love nature, silence and fresh air.
