The Turkish military killed 55 Daesh terrorists in Syria and destroyed three vehicles and rocket launching pads on Saturday, military sources announced on Sunday.
The targets were eliminated with rocket artilleries after being identified in the Suran area north of Aleppo and in Baraghedeh, near the Turkish Syrian border.
The Daesh terror organization has been attacking the Kilis border province for the past three months.
On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said 55 rockets were fired by Daesh into Kilis in the last three months.
Retaliatory artillery fire and airstrikes have killed dozens of Daesh terrorists. According to military sources, a total of 2,144 Daesh targets have been struck in Syria since last July, with 807 Daesh militants killed and a further 365 terrorists have been killed in Iraq.
