PKK terror continues targeting civilians, 2 dead


A group of PKK terrorists targeted two civilians in a car refusing to stop at the roadblock they set up in Şemdinli district of Turkey's southwestern Hakkari province, killing one civilian and injuring another.The injured civilian, who was also driving the car, was identified as Miran Kaya, an AK Party official of Şemdinli district and a nominee for candidacy in June 7 elections. As Kaya turned back after spotting terrorists, the car came under fire by automatic rifles, wounding Celal İnan at the passenger. Inan succumbed to his wounds at Şemdinli Public Hospital.Another civilian was victim of PKK terror as terrorists tried to raid the police headquarters of located in city center of eastern Tunceli province in broad daylight.Ayten Günhan, 26, got caught in the cross fire as on she her way to shopping. Günhan died from his wounds at the hospital. Murat Savaş Kale, a 30 year-old police officer, was also killed in the attack.Two terrorists who staged the attack were killed and their deaths were captured by cameras as many journalists and civilians were present in the area. Another terrorist was captured wounded. 36-year old Düzgün Biter, claimed to be the regional executive of PKK, was also captured in the ensuing police operations.
