The Justice Ministry is preparing regulations that will allow surviving victims of violence and relatives of deceased victims to be employed in the public sector. Turkey already offers public sector jobs for the victims of terrorism as an affirmative action and the new regulations are part of a project to boost victims' rights in the country that ranges from financial aid for victims to cover their expenses during the lawsuits and free therapy.
The draft regulation is expected to be implemented in the near future.
