Thirteen people, including eight children, were injured when bees attacked a group traveling in two cars in the central city of Konya yesterday. Firefighters arriving at the scene fired water cannons to dispel the bees, which reportedly escaped from a nearby apiary. Authorities said the injured recovered from the stings at the local hospital.
