Gölbaşı Public prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the user(s) of the 'Fuat Avni' account on Twitter for violating the privacy of the probe into illegal wiretapping activities allegedly carried out by Gülenists, who infiltrated government's key bodies such as the judiciary and police. The court reportedly issued a ban on access to the account which is expected to take effect after Turkey's telecommunication body receives the order.A controversial Twitter figure named Fuat Avni, which is known to be a fabricated account affiliated with and used by the Gülen Movement to allegedly give exclusive information, shares predictions which come true from time to time. The exclusive information which turns out to be true concerns doubts that the Gülenists are present in government's key bodies, and obtain confidential information via illegal means.An investigation was launched into the user(s) of the account for 'violation of privacy' of the probe into illegal wiretapping via social media.
