Ankara's İbni Sina Hospital witnessed an explosion in its chemical waste department parking lot on Thursday. At least one worker was reported to be injured.

A truck parked in front of the hospital's emergency department exploded due to unknown reasons at around 1 pm. The vehicle was reported to be carrying chemical waste material.

The hospital's head doctor said that Disaster and Emergency Management has undertaken the necessary measurements and that the site does not pose a threat.

The injured worker has been taken into the emergency department of the hospital.
