ISTANBUL — The first session of a new exam for grade school students' admission to high school began yesterday. The two-day Transition from Primary to Secondary Education (TEOG) exam will be sat by over 1.2 million students. Focusing more on subjects taught in one semester, the exam will assess students' knowledge on certain subjects instead of asking randomized and difficult questions on subjects not covered during the academic year.
