Ankara- A Turkish-manufactured anti-tank missile is due for serial production next year following successful firing tests.
The long-range 'Mizrak-U' missile completed its first airborne guided-firing test on March 4, according to major Turkish weapons manufacturer Roketsan.
The firm's director-general, Selcuk Yasar, said on Monday that testing in the central Anatolian city of Konya had been 100 percent successful.
"Serial production of the missile will start in 2015," he said. "Turkey will export them to Middle East, Europe and Asia."
The missile, which has a maximum range of 8 km, hit its target at a range of 3,500 meters from a Bell AH-1S Cobra helicopter.Ankara - A Turkish-manufactured anti-tank missile is due for serial production next year following successful firing tests.
