Turkey's Parliament Spokesman meets Tunisian President

Cemil Çiçek, spokesman for the Turkish Parliament met with Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki in Tunis during an official visit to the North African nation. The meeting lasted 35 minutes and was closed to the press.
Following the meeting, Çiçek said in a statement, "It was a senior level meeting and was very beneficial. We previously had the chance to host Mr. Marzouki at the Turkish Grand National Assembly. He is a politician with great love towards Turkey and wants cooperation."
On the other hand, Çiçek also emphasized the importance of Tunis' new constitution and improved bilateral ties.
The President of the Turkish Parliament also met with Turkish people living in Tunis at the Turkish Consulate and listened to their concerns.
