The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has provided ambulance support for the Handicapped Rehabilitation Forum in Pakistan's Kashmir region
As a result of their spinal cord injuries, 250 people suffered strokes in the wake of the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan's Bagh City. Other than the loss of lives, and their damaged residences, there was also a need for ambulances to assist in hospital services, read TIKA's official statement.
The terrain ambulances will also be convenient during emergencies by utilizing ridgeways alongside regular roads for patient transportation, to further assist in timely transfers to hospitals.
