Russia shares Turkish jet data

Russia has announced that they have handed over to Turkey all of their data on the F-4 Turkish jet downed in the Mediterranean.

Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov addressed the issue in a press conference in Moscow.

"Like other developed nations, when it comes to military issues we also have technical control mechanisms in place in order to acquire objective observation data. We have handed over all of the data we have obtained to Turkish officials."

Lavrov also pledged Russia's willingness to assist with the 35,000 Syrian refugees seeking shelter in Turkey. "Right now our Turkish colleagues state they are handling the situation. However, we feel we may discuss the issue with the Turkish administration soon."

During a press conference held on July 1st in Geneva, Lavrov had stated that Russia was ready to hand over all "objective observation data".
