A double holiday for the Feast of Sacrifice

SABAH has acquired important details regarding the developments in Syria as rebel supporters increasingly bear arms. According to information collected by intelligence units and presented to various state departments, supporters of Syrian state leader Bashar Assad are also taking up arms. According to the information obtained, every home is being distributed three guns and 1,000 bullets. The report, which refers to Aleppo, Humus and Hama as having been literally transformed into an armory, states that it is just a matter of time before the Assad administration and the opposition engage in intense conflict. Syrian rebels are acting under the slogan 'a double holiday for the Feast of Sacrifice'. Syrian rebels are of course referring to the celebrations staged by rebels in Libya after overthrowing Muammar Gaddafi during the Ramadan holiday and they are gathering now with intentions to do the same in Syria during the upcoming Feast of Sacrifice holiday.

THREE CRITICAL CITIES:
Aleppo, Humus and Hama have been transformed into a weapons den. In all three cities, both Assad loyalists and oppositionist rebels are in an intense effort to bear weapons. Syria's intelligence agency Mukhabarat has intensified efforts to track rebels in these three cities specifically.

WEAPONS IN EVERY HOME:
Weapons belonging to the Syrian armed forces are being distributed to loyalists by the Assad administration. On average every home is receiving three weapons and 1,000 bullets. The Assad administration has also gathered 10,000 volunteer soldiers, which are being paid 2,000 US dollars. Volunteer soldiers are being trained in Damascus and Aleppo by military troops.

200 OFFICES DISCHARGED:
Military members close to the Assad family have been appointed to the nation's most critical regions. The same process is underway with the military. Two hundred officers whose stance was questionable have been discharged. The most loyal generals to Assad have been appointed to border districts and coastal regions.

FOREIGN SOLDIERS OFFER ASSISTANCE:
According to information obtained, soldiers from Russia, Iran and certain European nations are undertaking the maintenance of the Syrian armed forces' vehicles and materials. Syria has hired retired soldiers from these nations to join the military as high-paid consultants.

RETIRED AGENTS CALLED BACK TO DUTY:
Intelligence units have recalled retired agents back to duty. Retired police officers are also being paid high salaries to return to duty.

HANGING OF ASSAD POSTERS MADE MANDATORY:
Local administrations are now required to hang posters of both father and son Assad, a pressure which is felt in its most extreme in villages.
