Foreign Affairs Minister Davutoğlu purchased a building situated across from the Athens Embassy and has told his counterpart Droutsas that they can in turn begin building on Greece’s property in Kavaklıdere.
A solution has finally been reached to a dilemma which stems all the way back to the time of Atatürk and Venezilos. The 80-year-old diplomatic dilemma now comes to an end as booth Turkey and Greece will be able to push forward on projects in each other's respective capitals.
Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has purchased the building, including the books inside, located across Turkey's embassy in Athens. He has also told his Greek counterpart Dimitris Droutsas that they may begin building on their property in Kavaklıdere any time they choose. The Turkish side in turn will act efficiently in assuring building permission is granted. When Davutoğlu was touring the four-level property in Athens he would later purchase, he was especially impressed by the library belonging to the land owner, an older Greek lady. After extensively inspectin the books, which consisted of printings from the 1930 and 1940's, Davutoğlu instructed Ambassador Hasan Göğüş that he wanted to purchase the property with the books in the library, and stated; "It is important to buy this property with the books."

FIVE NEW DECISIONS Droutsas and Davutoğlu have also reached a consensus on five other pertinent issues:
The decision for flights not to be held on official holidays, which had been halted for negotiations, will now be reapplied. Turkey has taken the first step in this effect and did not conduct flights on March 7th, which is when Greece's carnival is held. Greece's stance on April 23rd is yet to be seen as is Turkey's on Easter, April 27th.
Exploration talks will soon be completed.
Turkish Airlines will soon start flights from Istanbul to Thessaloniki.
Mutual Ministers of Health will also be included in the High Level Cooperation Council.
A joint cabinet meeting will be held in July.
