Obama and Erdogan discuss Libya
U.S. President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on Friday about the situation in Libya, the White House said.
They discussed options both countries are considering to ensure their citizens' safety in Libya and hold Libya's government accountable for its actions. They also agreed on the importance of providing humanitarian assistance to the Libyan people.The two leaders said the Libyan government's use of violence against its people is unacceptable and discussed ways for the international community to immediately respond, the White House said.
