Foreign traffic in Izmir sees 35% growth
According to figures from Izmir’s international airport, the number of foreigners arriving in Turkey has increased by 35 percent since the start of the year.
Erkan Balcı, the General Manager of Izmir's Tav-operated Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal, states that since opening the new international terminal in 2006, Izmir has become and the number of direct connecting routes has reached to 88.
