Tourism company Setur, one of the subsidiaries of Koç Holding, announced its intention to bid jointly with French Lagardère Services S.A.S. for the tender that will be held for the operation of duty-free stores in Istanbul's third airport. The announcement made by the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) is as follows: "The administrative board of Setur Service Touristic Co., one of our subsidiaries, has decided to offer a joint bid with Lagardère Services S.A.S. for the tender which is to be held by Istanbul Grand Airport's (İGA) management for the operation of duty-free stores in Istanbul's new airport. Lagardère Services S.A.S, all shares of which are owned by France's publicly-held Lagardère Group, is a globally experienced company, which performs in all segments of travel shopping, including duty-free shopping, travelling requirements and catering. In the case that the tender is won, Lagardère Services S.A.S. and Setur will both have a 50 percent share. The financial credentials of our bid have been offered to İGA and the operational ones will be delivered later in line with the process stipulated by tender specifications."
