Nokia announces new Lumia smartphones


Nokia's former CEO Stephen Elop has unveiled one new flagship and two low-cost Lumia phones: the Lumia 930, 630 and 635. The Lumia 930 is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, features a 5-inch 1080p screen with 441 ppi and includes a 20 megapixel camera with a Zeiss lens. The company claims that the device will offer unprecedented image and video quality. The device will run with 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage and will be built on an aluminum frame with a polycarbonate back. The Lumia 930 will cost $599 excluding taxes. The release date for the Lumia 930 is set for June.The low-cost Lumia 630 and 635 will "deliver people an entry point to the Windows Phone experience" Elop said. The Lumia 635 will be the 4G version of Lumia 630 making the only distinction between the two models. Both devices will feature a 4.5-inch Gorilla Glass display, 512MB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and a Snapdragon 400 processor. The Lumia 630 will cost $159 for the single-SIM version and 169$ with the dual-SIM option. The Lumia 635 will cost 189$. Both phones will launch in May.The new devices will all come with the new Windows Phone 8.1
