Opposition captures 53 regime soldiers in Aleppo
Opposition groups have reportedly captured 53 regime soldiers in the Bab al-Faraj neighborhood of Aleppo, with mercenaries from different nationalities among them.
As they seized the area, opposition fighters destroyed a regime Konkurs missile launcher on the al-Mallah front with a Malyutka missile. They also destroyed an 130 mm gun with a TOW missile on the al-Sheikh Yousef front and a on the Bani Zeid front.
In Aleppo's southern countryside, opposition groups also have said that a reconnaissance aircraft with anti-aircraft guns were downed by them.
Bashar Assad is supported by Moscow, which launched airstrikes in September, as well as Iranian troops and Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah fighters.
