Turkish boxing star Busenaz Sürmeneli advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's 66 kg. division at the Paris 2024 Olympics, delivering a dominant 4-1 victory over Poland’s Aneta Rygielska.

The bout took place at North Paris Arena, with Sürmeneli, the reigning Olympic champion, showcasing her prowess in a decisive performance.

She will next face Thailand's Janjaem Suwannapheng in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
