Italy defeated Turkey 3-0 in FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship on Wednesday in Japan.

The Turkish women beat Canada and Bulgaria with 3-0 set wins in their first two matches, but were defeated by China and Italy with the same scores.

Turkey will take on Cuba today in their fifth match.
