Putin condemns terrorist attack on Turkish aerospace firm TAI

Russian President Putin condemned the terrorist attack on the headquarters of Türkiye's aerospace firm in Ankara, as he met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan.

Putin expressed condolences after the terrorist attack saying that Russia condemns such acts.

"Dear Mr. President, dear colleagues, we are very glad to welcome you to Kazan. But before we start work, I would like to express my condolences in connection with the terrorist attack. Media reports are coming in about the terrorist attack in Türkiye," Putin said at a joint news conference with Erdoğan.

At least five people were killed and 22 others were injured in a terrorist attack that targeted the main facility of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) in the capital Ankara Wednesday afternoon.
