Turkish Parliament to hold extraordinary meeting next week

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş summoned the General Assembly, which is currently on summer recess, to hold a meeting on July 25.

The announcement was made after a petition was submitted by lawmakers to hold an extraordinary meeting.

The meeting will take place at 3 p.m. next Tuesday.

No further details have been released about what the meeting would discuss.
