Six people who are allegedly members of the Gülen Movement, deemed a terrorist organization by the government, have been arrested on Friday as part of "parallel state" operations.A Turkish court in the western Isparta province ruled for the arrest of three Gülenist officials, including the former head of Isparta province's Intelligence Branch Bureau, Peyami Baykara, as part of illegal wiretapping probe.The three suspects are accused of "carrying out illegal wiretapping activities", "forming an organization to commit a crime and being a member of this organization", and "violating privacy".Meanwhile, three out of 12 suspects recently detained in Turkey's southeastern province of Gaziantep in an operation into the police academies, have been arrested and are facing charges of carrying out illegal activities on behalf of the Gülen movement.The Gülen Movement is a transnational movement accused of wiretapping government officials, encrypted phones and infiltrating state institutions with the aim of overthrowing the government.
