Turkish judges, prosecutors cast votes to opt for board members


13, 994 judges and prosecutors across Turkey go to ballot boxes on Sunday to choose ten permanent and six substitute members of the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK). The prosecutors and judges will cast their votes in provinces they are assigned. Those members who receive the majority of the votes will be elected as main and substitute members of HSYK. The Supreme Election Board (YSK) will hold a draw in case there is equality in votes. The votes will start being counted at 5 p.m.
