Turkish FM meets EU’s Füle to discuss accession bid


Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu met Stefan Fule, the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, in Ankara on Tuesday to discuss Turkey's latest developments on its EU membership bid.The meeting was closed to press and lasted about half an hour.The EU Enlargement Chief will attend the '23rd Jurisdiction and Fundamental Rights' workshop meeting on Tuesday, in which Turkish EU Minister Mevlüt Caşusoglu and Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ will participate.Turkey continues to pursue its EU membership plans and aims to open chapters 23 and 24 of the joining process which cover judiciary, justice, freedom and fundamental rights.
