One year after the bloody coup attempt on July 15, all the concrete evidence points to Fetullah Gülen, the U.S.-based power-worshipping religious cleric, oh sorry, a terrorist cult leader.
Gülen, the modern-day Hassan Sabbah or Musailamah al-Kadzab, has placed his militant loyalists in the army, police, gendarmerie, state bureaucracy, business associations, political parties, public and private schools, academia and of course the media. The infiltration tactics and techniques of the poisonous Gülen movement (Hizmet) prove that his respect for Islamic values and devotion to Muslim ummah are much poorer than Benjamin Netanyahu or Osama Bin Laden's.
According to Gülen's teachings, all is well that ends well, which is 100 percent against the tenets of true Islam. Theologically speaking, he writes in one of his books that the Virgin Mary most likely had intercourse with Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), which according to Sunni and Shia Islam is point-blank kufr (heresy). If Daesh is the hardware of 21st century terrorism, attacking and occupying Muslim lands, Gülenism is definitely its software.
Moreover, his assassins are encouraged to use any evil method, anti-Islamic strategy and devious scheme to weaken Gülen's enemies during the infiltration process. This kind of heretic interpretations is only common to small factions in Shitte Islam. No major Sunni scholar in the world endorses Gülen's teachings.Well, libraries can be written on the Gülen movement's deceptions, hypocrisy and heresy, but I will cut it short and explain how we can fight against Gülenism in the U.S. Since their plans were foiled by elected President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the democratic determination of the Turkish people on July 15, thousands of Gülenist militants were justifiably sacked from government posts, and most of them are currently fugitives and asylum applicants in the U.S. They consider the U.S. as their headquarters where they are already busy exercising the same infiltration strategies.
Here is a list of ideas to fight the Gülen movement, which I think is one of the worst diseases of the 21st century.
Know your enemy
Turkish authorities must investigate all Gülenist presence in the U.S., from its foundations to business associations, state by state and city by city. Gülenism must be catalogued and distributed to every embassy, consulate and mission in the U.S.
Identify Gülenism's goals and partners in the U.S.
The CIA knows how hypocritical and nasty Gülen is and that is probably why they picked him as a partner to take over the Turkish political system. However, 90 percent of Gülen's partners in the U.S. don't have any idea about his dark side. Those Americans who visit Gülen's events, schools and conferences don't have the slightest idea what the Hizmet movement is. Making a list of those partner companies, organizations, foundations or people and informing them by email, Twitter, Facebook and other social media will have a cathartic impact on their views about Gülenism. Imagine their face when they learn that Gülen has a perverted weakness to recording sex tapes and wiretapping important people to be leveraged against them if they don't bow to his demands.
Legally protect U.S.-resident Turkish citizens who are anti-Gülen
A large number of Turks who despise Gülen are silent because they feel unprotected against Gülen's wrath in the U.S. Turks must feel secure when confronting Gülenism in the U.S. Turkish authorities should alert all official Turkish representatives to provide legal safety and security to anti-Gülen citizens.
Focus on Pennsylvania residentsTurkish authorities must start a new ad campaign specifically in Pennsylvania (PA) where this monster lives. PA residents must all hear and see that there is a ticking bomb in their backyards, right there in Saylorsbourg. Rightfully alarmed PA residents will push their senators and congressman to kick this guy out of their state. Trust me, it will work.
Convince American people, not American government
No government in the world can ignore the demands of its own people for too long. The U.S. government is hesitant to extradite Gülen for several reasons. Turkey must directly address Americans in its anti-Gülen campaigns. Social media, web marketing, media ads, etc., that especially target the GOP electorate will be very effective in associating Gülen with terrorism and stir strong anti-Gülen sentiment in the U.S.
List senators and congressmen who accept donations from Gülen
The electorates of these senators and congressmen have the right to know why they accept donations from a dark, religious cleric and what they do to return the favor. If donations given behind closed doors are explained to the public transparently, many U.S. officials will keep their distance from dark organizations.Set up a diaspora affairs ministry or commission Turkey has an EU Ministry. I really don't know if it makes any sense. Instead of an EU Ministry, Turkey must develop full access to all Turks living across the world, especially in the U.S., U.K., Germany, China and Russia. The global fight against Gülenism and other anti-Turkey groups should be handled thru this ministry or commission.
Unite anti-FETÖ NGOsEmbassies and consulates must take the initiative to bring together secular Kemalist nonprofit organizations and more religious nonprofit organizations to form a formidable lobby against not only Gülenism, but also the PKK and the Armenian diaspora.
Replace the current ambassador and consul generals with sworn-enemies of FETÖ
The United States is the new motherland of the Gülenists, and most of our diplomats are not mentally prepared to fight them. Our embassies, consulates and missions must be filled with people who work 24/7 to give a hard time to the enemies of the Turkish state and nation.
