The biggest coffee event in Ankara, Coffee Carnival Blues Session, which welcomed 10,000 visitors in 2016, this year arrives with a completely different concept. The carnival will take place from May 12-14 at Ankara Golf Club, this time with a reggae show, to continue hosting the best representatives of the "third-wave" specialty coffee trend in the city. Famous Turkish reggae band Sattas will perform at the festival that is expected to draw 15,000-17,000 visitors.

Coffee Carnival Reggae Session will offer quality coffee, music, sports and a traditional carnival ambiance. Sattas will perform along with other bands and DJs at the event, sponsored by IF Performance Hall. Representatives of specialty coffee houses and champion baristas will hold workshops and seminars to share their techniques and insider information on brewing coffee.

Organized for the first time last year, the highly-praised event was visited by 10,000 people, and this year will take place alongside the Coffee Carnival Mother's Day Golf Tournament on the weekend of May 13-14 at Ankara Golf Club. The club, which has 220 local members and a 255-player capacity, will welcome many professional and amateur players from Istanbul, İzmir and Antalya as guests of the carnival.

The 2017 Coffee Carnival aims to be a fun and unique project bringing together industry stakeholders, companies and institutions, nongovernmental organizations, sports clubs and universities.
