Prestigious platform to offer a polyphonic experience

Istanbul's Zorlu Performing Arts Center is presenting a rich, polyphonic festival, ‘MIX - An Interphonic Experience' from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1
Bringing art lovers together with musicians and performers, Zorlu Performing Arts Center (PSM) is kicking off the new season with a brand new festival where the most notable figures in music will come together. Büyük Ev Ablukada: Fırtınayt, Sattas, Ceza, Baba Zula, Hey! Douglas, Taksim Trio, Gaye Su Akyol, In Hoodies, Elif Çağlar Quartet, Ayşe Tütüncü & the Emre Karabulut Quartet, Şenay Lambaoğlu Quintet, Luxus, Kolektif İstanbul and Ahmet Ali Arslan are among the Turkish bands and singers who will take the stage.
As its name says, the festival will offer an interphonic experience by hosting different types of music bringing unique figures together on the PSM stages. Latin American reggae band Che Sudaka and British Oi Va Voi are two highlyanticipated foreign bands who will take the stage as part of the festival.
Some of the bands and singers who will perform on The Main Theatre, Drama Stage, Studio, Meydan Fuaye, VIP Lounge, Sky Lounge and PSM Amfi are the Turkish band Büyük Ev Ablukada: Fırtınayt, the Latin American reggae band Che Sudaka, which has become famous with its hyperactive stage presence, one of the most successful representatives of reggae music in Turkey Sattas, British band Oi Va Voi, which has a huge fan base in Turkey, Turkish rap singer Ceza, an important figure in folk music Erdal Erzincan, Ahmet Aslan, who combines Anatolian music with western instruments, Baba Zula, which resounds not only in Turkey but also around the world with its distinct style. Hey! Douglas, a prominent rap group Mode XL, Taksim Trio with its three virtuosos Hüsnü Şenlendirici, İsmail Tunçbilek and Aytaç Doğan, a successful Turkish post-punk band She Past Away, Gaye Su Akyol, who has come to the forefront with her modern interpretation of Turkish Classical Music, The Ringo Jets, In Hoodies, Neophon Ensemble: Welcoming Maqam, Niyazi Koyuncu, Luxus, Kolektif İstanbul, Ahmet Ali Arslan, Gökçe Kılınçer, Elif Çağlar, one of the fascinating voices of jazz music, will also be among those who will perform in the festival.
As part of MIX, new figures hosted by the Warm Up Project of RedBull.com will also be on the stage. The young post-rock band Help! The Captain Threw Up, which drew attention with its performance as part of the Warm Up, neo-folk band İdil & Da Poet, young representatives of the left-field hip hop OZBİ, psychedelic rock band Ponza and instrumental rock band Uluru will get on the stage.
The two-day music festival will host a flea market, record market and various exhibitions.
MIX FESTIVAL will also host various local and foreign DJs, as well as different events in addition to the concerts. While young talents in music will take the stage at PSM Amfi, there will be conceptual parties, including Silent Party.
Tickets for the festival that is to be scheduled between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 are available at Biletix and Zorlu PSM box offices.
