IMA will take to the stage at Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall on Feb. 25 to perform popular songs from two of her albums released in Turkey, "Precious" and "Best of IMA 2002-2012."Born in Quebec, Canada, IMA released her debut album in 2002 and garnered critical acclaim for her rendition of all-time classics like Nat King Cole's "Smile," Doris Day's "Que Sera Sera" and "Fire" by the 'Boss,' Bruce Springsteen.With an idiosyncratic style harmonizing pop, rock and folk genres, IMA became one of the most popular female singers in Canada. Along with her singing, she is involved in many causes and is a spokesperson for Amnesty International where she defends Afghan women's rights.
