Reyhanlı, a district of the southern Turkish city of Hatay bordering Syria, hosted the Turkish-Syrian Friendship Festival on Wednesday, bringing together the people of the two countries.
At the event organized by the municipality, Turkish residents of the district and Syrian refugees showcased examples from their respective cuisines and handicrafts. Syrian children performed folk dances while playgrounds were set up for Turkish and Syrian children at the venue.
