At least nine people, including two gunmen and three security guards, were killed Tuesday in an attack on a luxury hotel in Tripoli that has been claimed by Islamic State and al-Sham (ISIS). Due to the country's instability and insecurity, ISIS which is allied with the other radical elements in the country, has started using Libya as a base for training its militants, the U.S. claimed earlier. The deadly attack came amid the second round of peace talks between Libya's warring factions in Geneva Monday. However, the peace talks appear to have done little to calm the situation on the ground.
