The U.S. continued to strike the Islamic State of Iraq and al Sham, or ISIS, Saturday and Sunday, hitting the group three times in Syria and six times in Iraq, according to a statement issued by the U.S. Central Command.One strike northwest of the Syrian city of al-Mayadin destroyed an ISISbulldozer, two ISIS tanks and another ISIS vehicle. Two other strikes northwest of ISIL's unofficial capital, Raqqah, hit a large ISIS unit and destroyed six firing positions, said the statement. In Iraq, the U.S. carried out four strikes, northeast of Fallujah, which hit two mortar teams, a large ISIS unit and two small ISIS units. Another strike southeast of Hit destroyed two ISIS Humvees while a strike northeast of Sinjar destroyed an ISIS Humvee.
