Nine in every 10 women in Turkey find themselves beautiful as a new survey suggests.Conducted by a global company with more than 11,000 women in 11 countries, the survey's result was made public during the Beauty Summit in Amsterdam last week.
According to the survey, 91 percent of women in Turkey think they are beautiful. As many as 39 percent of Turkish women think looking beautiful is a key element for self-confidence. On the other hand, 17 percent of Turkish women believe that they are pressured by the society to look beautiful.
A total of 30 percent of Turkish women believe that their sense of beauty comes from their mother, while 21 percent said their husbands' perception of beauty influences their sense of beauty.
The same survey also revealed that Indian women are the most confident women in the world by 96 percent when it comes to beauty. While 81 of Russian women describe themselves as beautiful, they are followed by 73 percent of Chinese women, 65 percent of American women and 61 percent of the South Korean women. While 41 percent of French women said that they find themselves beautiful, only 29 percent of British women agreed.
