As the fallout facing Kevin Spacey widened Monday following an accusation that he allegedly made sexual advances on a teen boy, his brother gave a serious insight into Spacey's childhood, alleging that their father Thomas Geoffrey Fowler was 'a Nazi child rapist.'

Randall Fowler, 62, Spacey's older estranged brother who lives in Idaho, told the DailyMail that he was sexually and physically abused by his father for years and his mother was aware of the situation. Fowler said when he confronted his mother about it years later, she "simply sat in stony silence."

Fowler, who is a Rod Stewart impersonator and limo driver, said their father sexually abused him for years since he was 12-years-old and was violent to his three children, making their home a "house of horrors."

I went through three marriages and 40 affairs."Fowler said Spacey, he and their elder sister Julie suffered a great deal because of their abusive father, whom they used to call "the Creature" and their sister who also endured beatings ran away right after turning 18.

According to Fowler's account, Spacey turned into himself to avoid trouble. "He was so determined to try to avoid the whippings that he just minded his Ps and Qs until there was nothing inside. He had no feelings."

"I constantly threatened my father that if he ever touched my brother, I would confront my mother with what was going on and that would destroy the family."

Their father became a member of the American Nazi Party when Spacey and his brother were boys and he trimmed his mustache to resemble Adolf Hitler.

Fowler said the family would be forced to sit through dinnertime rants as their father lectured them on white supremacy, claiming that the Holocaust was a lie, that Jews ran banks and Hollywood, and that something called 'biocrude' would destroy the planet.

In an interview published by BuzzFeed News on Sunday, actor Anthony Rapp alleged that he was attending a party at Spacey's apartment in 1986 when an inebriated 26-year-old Spacey picked him up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him. Rapp, then 14, was able to get away without any physical harm.

Spacey responded on Twitter by saying he doesn't remember the alleged encounter but if he acted the way Rapp claims, "I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior."

Spacey then said Rapp's story "encouraged" him to address long-simmering rumors about his sexuality. He wrote that he's had romantic relationships with both men and women in the past but is now living "as a gay man" and wanted to be honest so he could examine "my own behavior." Requests for comment went unanswered Monday.

The two-paragraph statement — an apology in the first for a 31-year-old alleged assault and a self-outing in the second — struck many as an odd time for Spacey to address his sexuality or even as an attempt to deflect blame.
