Trabzon's Uzungöl, which has become a major tourism hub in recent years thanks to its natural beauties, is getting ready to host the International Yoga Festival from Sept. 14-19.To promote the festival which will be co-organized by the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Arab Tourism Organization with the support of Turkey's Culture and Tourism Ministry, the local government of Trabzon is hosting international yoga teachers as well as members of the press from all around the world in Uzungöl. District Governor İhsan Ayrancı said that Uzungöl is one of the richest tourism destinations in Turkey.Stating that people will also pay a visit to Uzungöl to experience yoga, Ayrancı said: "We expect a large turnout for the festival. Participants will get a unique yoga experience surrounded by various shades of beautiful greenery. The participants in the festival will have a chance to receive yoga training from world-renowned yoga instructors from around the world. Moreover, for the first time, "yogis" will experience a mixture of yoga and Sufi traditions. The festival aims to send a peace message to the world with its motto: "Away from Politics: One World, One Source and One Hand."
