Antalya is getting ready to host a beauty pageant for the city's trees as part of the Forestry Week Festival. Landscaping firms will display trees and decorative plants all over the city until March 26 and residents are asked to vote for the trees they think are the most beautiful in Antalya's landscape.Organized by Antalya's Muratbey Municipality, voting in the Tree Beauty Pageant is set to begin today, with ballot boxes closing on March 26. A jury composed of Associate Professor Meryem Atik, Sema Nur Kurt, Ebru Manavoğlu, Mehmet Rıza Ünlü, Teoman Akçalı and Associate Professor Ali Kavgacı will evaluate the most popular trees and announce the winner on the same day.The pageant has been organized in celebration of Forestry Week.
