Ironing least favorite household chore, Turkish women say
For many people doing housework is nothing but a headache. A new survey published by Profilo, a giant household appliances company, reveals the habits of Turkish women doing housework.
Covering the answers of more than 750 Turkish women in 18 cities, the survey claims that ironing is the least favorite household chore among Turkish women. Around 40 percent of the participants said they do not do ironing willingly. The other least favorite household chore is dusting at 13 percent and washing at 11 percent. For Turkish women, cleaning is what they spend most time doing when maintained the home, followed by ironing and organizing the home.
An interesting result that emerges in the survey is that Turkish women place huge importance on washing clothes, and many run the machine every other day. The same is also for washing dishes as the washing machine runs every other day in Turkish homes.
