Tourists to flock to Bodrum during Qurban Bayram

During the extended Qurban Bayram (Feast of the Sacrifice), also known as Eid al-Adha, Aegean resort town Bodrum again becomes a tourist hub, as hotels expect about 1 million tourists for the nine-day holiday. Both local and international tourists have arranged bookings at small and resort hotels where they can find entertainment and vacation at the same time.

Certain airlines will organize additional flights for high passenger traffic, especially at Milas-Bodrum Airport. Around 150 additional flights for both international and local arrivals are available. Additional buses to Bodrum will also be available.

From Sept. 9, hotel bookings will fill five-star hotels, pensions and apart hotels. Rixos Premium Bodrum Public Affairs Director Ayça Öztürk said that hotels in Bodrum are preparing special Qurban Bayram program for tourists. "The extended holiday has already satisfied many local businesses here. Our hotel will be full during the bayram. We will offer daily and evening programs for our guests and will host famous names in concerts and entertaining activities," Öztürk continued.
