Istanbul's Shangri-La Suite among world's super-luxury hotel suites
Thousands of euros are spent to stay for only one night at luxury hotel suites appealing to ultra-wealthy customers with their extraordinary architecture, specially designed furniture and magnificent views. Among the world's super-luxury hotel suites, the Shangri-La Suite at the Shangri-La Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul ranks sixth with an overnight stay price for around 27,000 euros.Spread across a 366-square-meter area, the suite features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room and one dining room. According to Focus Online, the list of the world's super-luxury suites prepared by billionaire.com, The Mark Hotel's penthouse in New York City tops the list with a one-night stay price of more than 77,000 euros. Designed by French interior architect Jacques Grange, the suite has five bedrooms, two bars, a special library, a dining room for 24 guests and a fireplace. The suite faces Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum. The second super-luxury suite is at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, facing Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva.Guests can stay at the suite decorated with priceless artworks for almost 54,000 euros. The third super-luxury hotel suite is again in New York City at the Four Seasons Hotel. The Ty Warner Penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel is followed by the Delana Hilltop Estate at the Laucala Island Resort in Fiji, the Penthouse Suite at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez in Cannes, the Shangri-La Suite at the Shangri-La Bosphorus in Istanbul, the presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental in Shanghai, the Royal Suite at the Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris, the presidential suite at the Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia and The Apartment at the Connaught Hotel in London.
