Istanbul forest offers relaxation on weekends

We cannot keep up with the speed of daily life, running from one thing to another. We gain momentum and run faster but we cannot avoid exhaustion. Yet the world continues to circle around the sun at the same speed and nature continues to regenerate and presents us four seasons every year. So, what about taking a break from your fast daily routine and walking to the future in nature?Aristotle said: "Nature gives strength to the young and wisdom to the elder." Based on this quote from Aristotle, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Youth Council has initiated a trekking project to raise awareness of diabetes and healthy living and to bring young people together with nature. As part of the project, young people will get stronger as they stroll in nature and become aware of diseases like obesity, diabetes and other stress-related problems. The project mainly aims to raise awareness about the importance of healthy living. The trekking program will take place periodically on Sundays until April 17. Young people in Istanbul will be able take slow steps into the future in the unique and mysterious nature of the Beykoz Forest. People between the ages of 15 and 25 are invited to the treks to get away from the chaos and hustle and bustle of daily life and set off on new adventures.
